What data do we collect?

CogitoPraxis only collects data from you if you subscribe to our mailing list. If you subscribe to our mailing list, which is hosted on MailChimp, we will have access to your name, and your email address. You can unsubscribe from our mailing list at any time. Our mailing list is strictly confidential, and we will not share your contact information outside of our organisation, or sell it to third parties.

Other than this, WordPress statistics allow us to which country the person who has visited our site is visiting from. We can not see from where you access our site. We store this data to evaluate the reach of our content, and do not share this with any third parties.

How do we collect your data?

When you click on one of our subscribe buttons, we redirect you to a secure Mailchimp form. When you fill out your information (name and email address), and submit the form, your information is automatically added to a secure drive, and to the MailChimp servers. How will we use your data?

We use your data to contact you via email when we publish new content, or have other CogitoPraxis related news that we want to share with you. Your data will never be shared with third parties. We will also use the metrics provided by WordPress (the country from which our website was visited) to analyse which regions our content is reaching the most, and where we need to improve our reach.
